The brand
RECARO brings more than a hundred years of premium seat manufacturing to infant carriers, reboarders, child seats, comfort strollers and compact buggies. A large part of the collection is manufactured in Europe. The priorities are quality, safety and design, in that order and without compromise.
Industry
A child car seat is a safety product before it is anything else. A fabric that goes into one has to meet a standard that most textiles are never asked to meet, which is why sustainable material has been slow to arrive in the category.
What we made
Durable recycled fabric introduced into the RECARO collection, meeting the company's existing quality standards rather than being granted an exception from them.
The team at RECARO has the important job of developing and creating safe, innovative and comfortable child car seats for babies and children. We were delighted to pursue our sustainable goals with durable and environmentally friendly fabrics from Waste2Wear, knowing that every meter of fabric used, prevents plastic bottles from ending up in our environment.
