What products can Waste2Wear manufacture?
We manufacture across fashion apparel, sportswear, accessories, bags and uniforms, working as a full-service partner rather than a single-category supplier. Because we run the same materials, certification stack and traceability system across all of these, you can source multiple product types from us without managing separate supply chains for each.
What materials do you work with?
Our core materials are rPET, made from 100% post-consumer plastic bottles, and rPP, sourced entirely from post-consumer food containers. We also produce recycled cotton, sustainable viscose and woolen blends, so most briefs can be met from within our own material range rather than requiring us to bring in a separate supplier.
Do you supply fabric by the metre or finished products?
Both. We supply recycled fabric by the metre for brands running their own production, and we manufacture finished products end to end for brands who want us to handle the full process. Which route makes sense usually depends on where your own production capability sits.
Do you work from our designs and specifications?
Yes, we work from your designs, tech packs and specifications, and our production team will flag anything that needs adjusting to work with recycled materials before we move into sampling. The goal is to match your specification as closely as possible, not to ask you to redesign around our fabric.
What does the end-to-end process look like, from brief to delivery?
We start with your brief and specifications, move into material selection and sampling, then production, quality control and logistics through to delivery. Traceability and reporting run alongside every stage, so by the time your order arrives you also have the supply chain record and Environmental Impact Report that go with it.
How large is your recycled fabric library?
Our recycled fabric library spans a wide range of weights, constructions and finishes across rPET and rPP, along with recycled cotton, sustainable viscose and woolen blends. If nothing in the existing range matches your brief exactly, we can also develop a fabric to your specification.
Is recycled content verified across everything you make?
Yes, though the method depends on the material. We apply RA3 to verify exact recycled content in rPET products, while GRS certification and our documented supply chain stand behind recycled content across the wider range, including rPP.
Do finished products come with traceability and an EIR?
Yes, every order includes a QR-linked traceability record and an Environmental Impact Report specific to that order, regardless of which product category it falls under. This is standard across our manufacturing, not an add-on reserved for particular product lines.
What are your minimum order quantities?
Minimum order quantities vary by product type, material and level of customisation, so we confirm this with you once we understand the specification. We would rather work through the detail with you directly than quote a single number that does not reflect your actual brief.
