What are your backpacks and carry solutions made from?
We make backpacks, totes and travel bags from rPET, made from post-consumer plastic bottles, and rPP, sourced entirely from post-consumer food containers. Which material we use depends on the product, since rPP's strength and structure suit rigid, structured bags better than an rPET-based fabric would.
Are the bags durable enough for daily use?
Yes, we build durability into the specification from the start, testing construction and materials for the wear a backpack or travel bag sees over daily use rather than only under lab conditions. That durability holds whether we are producing a small batch or a large-scale run.
How is recycled content in the bags verified?
For rPET components, we verify recycled content using RA3, which returns an exact percentage rather than a range. For rPP components, RA3 does not apply, so we rely on GRS certification and our documented supply chain instead, and we are careful to be clear about which method backs which material in a given product.
Are the carry products traceable?
Yes, every bag carries a QR code linked to its supply chain record, tracked through our blockchain system from material sourcing through to the finished product. That record is tamper-proof, so it is something you can share with customers or auditors rather than simply state.
Are they Digital Product Passport ready?
Yes, the traceability and material data we record for every bag already covers much of what a Digital Product Passport will require for textiles once the rules take effect, so bringing carry products into compliance builds on data we are already collecting rather than starting fresh.
Can the bags be customised to our brand?
Yes, we can adjust size, colour, print, hardware and finish to match your brand, working with your team through sampling before full production. If you have a specific construction requirement, we can discuss that as part of the same process.
What environmental savings do the materials offer?
