Recycled canvas, in 20 stretched sizes and on the roll
The brand
Liquitex is working to build a world in which artists and communities can thrive, by changing its products and packaging and by integrating sustainability into how the business runs, without giving up the quality its customers expect.
Industry
What we made
Liquitex Recycled Canvas, using cloth made with us. The canvas cloth is made from 100 percent recycled plastic bottles and is stretched on an FSC certified frame. It is suitable for acrylics or oils, and comes in a choice of twenty stretched sizes or as an unprimed roll. It functions and performs the way a traditional canvas does.
We want to do whatever we can to create a world that's full of possibilities for future generations of artists to thrive. That's why we've partnered with Waste2Wear, pioneers in solutions for innovative plastic recycling, using blockchain technology to deliver 100% traceable and sustainable textiles. Partnering with Waste2Wear meant we could create a product that allowed artists to create with confidence while reducing their impact on the environment.
