Cecilie Bahnsen designs garments intended to sit outside trend cycles and outside landfill, made to be kept, shared and passed on. The house works towards a reduced waste model across every stage, using recycled materials, and cutting for a range of body shapes and ideas of femininity.

What we made
Fabric for a number of Cecilie Bahnsen's select designs is made with us from post-consumer plastic bottles. The brief was unusually demanding, because a fabric that is beautiful and a fabric that is recycled are often assumed to be two different fabrics. Ours had to be durable and comfortable and hold the drape the house works in.
