Our rPET performs identically to virgin polyester across durability, dyeability and moisture management. What changes is what goes into it. Every metre of rPET fabric we produce is made from post-consumer plastic bottles, which cuts the energy, water and carbon cost of production well below that of virgin polyester. The factories we produce in hold their own certifications for labour practices, organic fibre and responsible down, each independently audited on an ongoing basis.
Most of the line, not one collection
Fabienne Chapot has moved the majority of its polyester across to fabric made from recycled bottles. Each new fabric has its own optics and handfeel to develop before it can replace the virgin equivalent, so the work is continuous rather than a launch.

Yes, we supply rPET fabric by the metre for brands running their own production, and we manufacture finished garments end to end for brands who want us to handle cut and sew as well. Which option suits you depends on where your own production sits.

Yes, every finished garment carries a QR code that links to its supply chain record, from the plastic bottles it started as through to the finished piece, backed by our blockchain traceability system.
